The International Conference on Visual Information Systems will celebrate its 10th edition in Salerno, Italy, 11-12 September 2008, hosted by University of Salerno.
Salerno is a beautiful city of South Italy ideally located, right between the spectacular Amalfi and Cilento coasts. The city is "authentically Italian", with a beautiful historic centre, as well as long seafront promenade, with magnificent views over the Gulf of Salerno. It is an eternal city overwhelmed by history and bound to its traditions, a city of extraordinary beauty, not only for its landscapes but also for its architecture.
Due to Salerno's marvelous year-round climate, people here enjoy the "typically Italian" outdoor lifestyle which this beautiful weather makes possible.
